Every family is different, every person is different. Love sees no color, no gender or constitutional penmanship when the act of love simply meant to be healthy and positive. Remember when it was considered “unlawful” for interacial marriage? I don’t think those families turned out that bad and had their fair share of life like any other marriage. Same sex marriage seems to fit the same perspective but scares the hell out heterosexuals. If we write a constitutional amendment effectively banning gay marriage, we may as well add in legal right to digress back to slavery, ban interracial marriages and add a line to remove “In God We Trust” from our currency. If you are going to work on bias and forms of hatred, go all the way, change everything all at once.
Otherwise, shut up and stay out of people’s bedrooms and see the person for what they are by their content of their character.
